VOLUME 2: Written Compliance Programs
DESCRIPTION:
This manual contains required OSHA compliance programs specified by OSHA general industry standards 29 CFR 1910. This manual also contains other programs that are not specifically required by OSHA, but are implied by OSHA. For example, OSHA does not specifically require a written fall protection program. However, to manage a fall protection program when guardrails are not present, to train employees, and to establish acceptable practices, a written fall protection program is needed. This manual also contains one construction standard program (ground-fault protection/assured equipment grounding) because most general industry employers engage frequently in construction activities with electrical tools and cord sets.
