Brian Kareis is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and Professional Engineer with over twenty years of consulting experience. He has provided environmental and industrial hygiene consulting services to a wide variety of clients. These include petroleum refineries, chemical manufacturers, steel plants, power plants, banks, schools and universities, federal, state and local governmental agencies, insurance companies, fertilizer manufacturing, real estate developers, law firms, architectural and engineering firms, contractors, and other environmental and industrial hygiene consulting firms.

His areas of expertise include conducting exposure assessments for a wide variety of chemical and physical agents, asbestos, indoor air quality and mold, environmental site assessments and remediation, database development, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and radon surveys, potable and non-potable water sampling and testing, and environmental and industrial hygiene training.
Mr. Kareis is an EPA approved asbestos and lead-based paint trainer. He has conducted asbestos training for supervisors, inspectors, workers, management planners, designers, air monitors, and analysts. He has also conducted training for lead-based paint supervisors, inspectors, workers, and risk assessors. Other training courses that he has developed and taught include Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER), asbestos operations and maintenance, hazard communication, industrial hygiene, mold remediation, and environmental site assessments.
