Electrocution is the fourth leading cause of workplace fatalities.  This one-day course provides an overview of electrical safety and safe work practices. 

In this course you will learn:

Hazards of electricity
Effects of alternating current (AC) as well as direct current (DC) on the human body
Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCI)
OSHA Electrical Installation Requirements: 1910.301–1910.308
NFPA 70E – Flash Hazard Analysis
OSHA Electrical Safe Work Practices: 1910.331–1910.335
Lockout/Tagout
