| The OSHA Cotton Dust Standard (29CFR1910.1043) states: Persons other than licensed physicians, who administer the pulmonary function testing required by this section shall have completed a NIOSH-Approved training course in spirometry. This course meets the requirements set forth by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).
