Jon Wallace provides safety services for Workplace Group. He is a Certified Safety Professional with twenty years of safety experience. His industrial experience includes Mobil Oil and Hercules. He has over ten years safety consulting experience and was employed by U.S. HealthWorks—Preventive Services Division prior to joining Workplace Group. While there he assisted clients in the chemical, nuclear, furniture, semiconductor, automotive, steel, and pharmaceutical industries. |

In addition to safety consulting, Jon is on the faculty of the University of North Carolina Education & Research Center (ERC), and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor with the School of Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He teaches various safety topics including the 10- and 30-hour OSHA compliance course. He is an Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer.
Jon is a certified Independent STAR Assessor (ISA) by the North Carolina Department of Labor. As an ISA, he is a member of a team that audits facilities applying for the Carolina Star, Rising Star or Municipal Star recognition programs. Furthermore, he mentors companies preparing for the Star certification. As a mentor Mr. Wallace provides assistance with implementation of the Star status, development of required safety and health programs, mock Star audits, assistance with preparation of Star applications, etc.
